刘宇：男，生于1987年2月，陕西安康人。2009年毕业于西北农林科技大学，动物科学专业，获农学学士学位；2012年毕业于西北农林科技大学，动物遗传育种与繁殖专业，获农学硕士学位；2015年毕业于西北农林科技大学，动物遗传育种与繁殖专业，获农学博士学位。2021年晋升农业科学副研究员。现任河北北方学院实验动物中心副主任、硕士生导师。

主要从事动物遗传育种与繁殖研究，研究方向为非编码RNA与动物生长发育调控，坝上长尾鸡育种新技术研发及种质创新。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、河北省自然科学基金、河北省青年拔尖人才计划项目、河北省现代农业产业体系张家口综合试验站、河北省教育厅和张家口市科技攻关等科研课题十余项。在Genes、Gene、Genetics and Molecular Biology、Molecular Biology Reports、家畜生态学报等期刊发表SCI论文10余篇，中文核心期刊2篇，国际期刊2篇，省级期刊2篇，获批实用新型专利2项。。

现任河北省实验动物学会理事、中国实验动物学会实验动物技术专家。
